Course registration is dependent on the school you attend but in Yonsei, the process is quite unique. It is also dependent on the year you go abroad. I am currently a senior (5th year) majoring in marketing, international business, management information system, and finance. At this time I have completed my marketing and management information system degree, so I am focusing on my international business and finance degree. At Yonsei, there are a lot of international business courses and electives and due to just starting my finance major there are few intro and elective courses. As I mentioned before the process for registration is unique because it is with a point system. You are given a certain amount of points at the beginning of registration and you need to put them towards the courses you are interested in taking. For example, a finance class may be 20 points and you have 72 points total. You can either put the full 20 points towards the class and have 52 points left or put fewer points to accommodate other courses you are interested in. I provided a screenshot of how I organized my courses of interest and the ones that I wanted. The screenshot below the course list shows the schedule - due to COVID-19 this has changed how the courses are time-wise. Most of my courses are half synchronous and asynchronous, where once a week we meet through zoom with the assumption that we have read/watched the lecture prior to discussing the topic.

After completing registration there is a waitlisting period that lasts for 5 days and it updates your position every 10 minutes. If you still need to make adjustments to your schedule after this period there is the add/drop during the first week of classes that lasts for 4 days where you could make your final adjustments.

Course list that is approved and will transfer back to Shidler with its equivalency, mileage points (the max and how much I will put), and the course times.

My course schedule for this semester that also includes the pre-recorded (asynchronous) courses.
