Week 1: AUG 24th - AUG 31st

I was released from quarantine on August 24th, 2021 at 12:00 PM. I ordered a taxi and went to a friend’s place to stay for a week as my Airbnb was not available until September 1st. My friends and I’s place was located in Hongdae so on the first day, we explored the area and grabbed a late lunch at a Korean restaurant. We then went to Daiso to grab house supplies since it is so cheap and 7 stories. The next day we went to IKEA so we needed to take the subway which was a couple of stations away. At first, taking the subway can be confusing, however, it does get easier. It is very fast and cheap costing about $1.20 per ride (one-way). During this week we also visited Yonsei University. The campus is beautiful and during this time it was graduation season. There are a lot of cafes in the area of Hongdae so I explored them a lot with friends and it’s a good place to study as the majority of them have wifi and outlets. On the 31st, we went to the Han River for dinner as they had ramen you could make and fried chicken. It was very relaxing and amazing to see the city at night.
